Overview

Senior Work and Health Coach – North West London. This role is with Shaw Trust. It is a fixed-term role for 8 months and located in West London. You will be based in West London and contribute to Shaw Trust’s Work Well programme within the Community Health & Wellbeing division.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct line management and supervision across the London area.
  • Carry a small caseload to support some of the more complex cases and provide highly effective support to individuals on their journey to returning, remaining or finding new employment while also supporting them to improve health and wellbeing.
  • Support robust relationships with a range of stakeholders, including employers, third sector and NHS partners as needed.
  • Work with mental and/or physical health clinical teams, GP practices and other referral partners who refer clients who are currently in employment but are experiencing difficulties in the workplace and require assistance.
  • Support those who have fallen out of work to get the support they need to return to employment, with tailored support to specific needs and circumstances.

Context and Organisation

Work Well is a government funded programme offering early-intervention work and health support and assessment services. It provides holistic support to overcome health-related barriers to employment and a single joined-up gateway to other support services. Work Well sits within Shaw Trust’s Community Health & Wellbeing division and is a growing part of the business and our wider employment support offer to beneficiaries. The programme partners with mental and/or physical health clinical teams, GP practices and other referral partners.
