Job Role: Mental Health Support Worker
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Southwell, Nottinghamshire
Earning potential: £27,976.00 - £33,435.04 per annum* (includes qualification enhancement, attendance bonus, and 2 sleep‑ins per week at £46.01 each)
Hourly rate: £13.45 – £16.07 per hour
Minster House is a new residential care home for young people facing challenges. We are looking for someone passionate about helping them reach their full potential and who has transferable experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults. The role involves working directly with vulnerable young people who have adverse backgrounds and require trauma‑informed care.
What You’ll Bring
- An understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable children and young people who have experienced trauma
- Experience supporting vulnerable people in a workplace environment or professional capacity
- Experience of working with behaviours that challenge
- Education to GCSE level or equivalent
- QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent Health & Social Care qualification or willingness to complete
- Availability to work on a shift rota system including weekends and bank holidays
- A full UK Driving Licence
