Homes2Inspire are currently looking for an ambitious and passionate Registered Children's Home Manager for our three-bedded children's residential home in Mapperley, Nottinghamshire. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the home, ensuring the safety, wellbeing and positive outcomes of the children and young people in our care. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader who is motivated by challenge and inspired by the chance to make a lasting impact.

We are looking for a Registered Manager who can lead a period of positive transformation, driving service improvement, embedding high standards of care, and creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the home, developing a stable and high-performing team, strengthening practice standards, and building a culture centred around positive relationships, therapeutic care and ambitious outcomes for children and young people. The home supports children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, providing the stability, warmth and consistency they need to flourish. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating an environment where every child feels safe, valued, listened to and empowered to achieve their potential.

You'll also have the support of Homes2Inspire – the only charity-owned provider of residential children's homes in Ofsted's top 10 – where over 92% of our homes are rated Good or Outstanding.

What you'll bring:

  • QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • At least 2 years' recent experience in a supervisory role within a Registered Children's Home
  • Proven managerial and leadership skills with a child-centred approach
  • Experience of leading service improvement, change management or turnaround activity within children's residential care
  • Strong knowledge of children's home regulations and legislation
  • The ability to develop and motivate teams to achieve high standards of care and practice
  • Experience of working positively with Ofsted and external stakeholders
  • Resilience, drive and a passion for achieving exceptional outcomes for children
  • Full UK Driving Licence
