Job role: Senior Support Worker

Contract: Full time, Maternity Cover

Location: Dove House, Nottinghamshire

Salary: £34,981.04 - £36,044.04 per annum (Inclusive of your attendance allowance of £1,400 per annum and 2 sleep-in per week at £46.01 each)

Dove House is a 2 bedded home on the outskirts of Nottingham. It is situated in a nice neighbourhood and is a 5 minute walk from the country park and a 20 minute drive from the local shops. Dove House is a safe space for young vulnerable people and that’s also how the staff feel safe.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will support the management team with directing roles and responsibilities to support workers and ensuring the monitoring of children and young people’s behaviour, safety, and well-being. Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships with others are vital! As a shift leader, the right candidate will be someone who leads by example, upholds standards, and ensures that the safeguarding of children and young people underpins all decisions made.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 years' experience working with children and young people in a residential setting
  • QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare or equivalent (In line with Ofsted requirements)
  • Commitment to working a shift pattern including sleep in duties + overtime
  • Full UK driving licence
