Homes2Inspire are currently looking for a Registered Home Manager for our three-bedded children’s residential home in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire. You’ll report to the Regional Operations Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the safety and well-being of our children and young people at all times. We are looking for a compassionate and inspiring Registered Children’s Home Manager to help this home continue to flourish.
You will lead with empathy and strength, guiding the team to maintain the settled, positive atmosphere already in place while supporting each young person’s individual journey. Edgecote House supports children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, providing the stability, warmth, and consistency they need to thrive. Our dedicated team works hard to create a nurturing space where every child feels valued, listened to, and understood.
You’ll also have the support of Homes2Inspire – the only charity-owned provider of residential children’s homes in Ofsted’s top 10 – where over 92% of our homes are rated Good or Outstanding.
What you’ll bring:
- QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- At least 2 years’ recent experience in a supervisory role within a Registered Children’s Home
- Proven managerial and leadership skills with a child-centred approach
- Strong knowledge of children’s home regulations and legislation
- A positive track record with Ofsted inspections
- The ability to inspire a team and build trusted relationships with stakeholders
- Full UK Driving Licence
