Purpose
Manage a caseload of participants in custody, and community, providing high quality support and guidance, enabling participants to engage and break down barriers to successful resettlement, achieve agreed milestones and develop enhanced skillsets, leading them into an ultimate goal of sustainable employment.
Essential
- ICT proficiency including all major Microsoft applications. Level 2 English & Maths or equivalent experience
- A commitment to the rehabilitation of prisoners with experience of supporting prisoners and prison leavers with complex needs, helping them overcome barriers and progress towards education, training, and employment.
- Skilled in managing challenging behaviour, building effective partnerships, and achieving performance targets while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills including active listening and motivational skills to support those from a range of backgrounds. Proactive and solution focussed taking the initiative to create opportunities
In addition to DBS and reference checks, the successful candidate must pass HMPPS vetting
