Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £37,562 - £38,827 per annum (Higher end of the pay scale is following 12 months in the role)
Hourly rate: £18.06 - £18.67 per hour
You will be required to work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, however, will be expected to cover shifts when needed. You will also be required to participate in the on-call for the cluster.

Newbury and Stirling House are 2 two-bedded children's homes Ofsted rated 'Good'. As Deputy Manager, you will be a key part of a team committed to ensuring the young people receive the support they need and deserve in a stable home.
Responsibilities
- The Deputy Manager will deputise for the Registered Home Manager during absences, managing day-to-day operations of the Children's Home, and ensuring the safeguarding of young people.
- Work with the team to provide care and support to children in a residential setting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience working with Children and Young People in a Residential setting
- Recent experience working either as a Children's Home Deputy Manager or as a Senior Support Worker or Team Leader in a Children's Home
- Experience of working with behaviours that challenge
- Minimum QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare or equivalent (In line with Ofsted requirements)
- Enthusiasm and commitment to completing QCF Level 5 Children, Young People and Families Manager qualification
- Flexibility to cover shifts in line with the needs of the home
- A full UK Driving Licence
