About the Home: Gretton House is a new 3 bedded specialist children’s home, created specifically for young people who have experienced exploitation, trauma, and significant adversity. The home will be focused on helping young people build safety, trust, resilience and positive futures by delivering specialist interventions that reduce risk, increase stability and improve long-term life outcomes. Vacancy: As the Registered Manager, you will lead a specialist service supporting some of the most vulnerable children in the UK, creating a safe, nurturing environment, where young people can move beyond exploitation and achieve positive outcomes. This role is more than managing a children's home. It is an opportunity to create a place of safety for vulnerable young people, helping them recover from exploitation, rebuild trust, and move toward a brighter future. This is a rare opportunity to: * Shape the home's culture, values and operating model from day one. * Lead the Ofsted registration and home opening journey. * Recruit, develop and inspire a brand-new staff team. * Work with senior leaders to establish a centre of excellence for safeguarding and exploitation-informed practice. Knowledge required: * Experience supporting children affected by criminal exploitation, child sexual exploitation, county lines activity, missing episodes or contextual safeguarding concerns. * Strong understanding of multi-agency safeguarding partnerships, including Police, Social Care, Education and health professionals. * Ability to assess and manage complex risks while maintaining a child-centred approach Core Responsibilities: * Lead and manage a specialist residential service supporting 3 young people with complex needs. * Ensure outstanding standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance. * Develop and inspire a resilient, high-performing team that embodies Homes2Inspire values. * Promote therapeutic, trauma-informed practice throughout the service. * Work collaboratively across a supportive cluster of homes, sharing expertise and best practice. * Build positive relationships with external agencies, commissioners, and stakeholders. * Monitor quality, outcomes, and service performance to drive continuous improvement. * Lead on recruitment, development, supervision, and performance management of staff. * Manage budgets, resources, and occupancy effectively. * Create a nurturing environment where children and young people can flourish. What we're Looking For * Previous experience within children's residential care, including leadership and management responsibilities. * Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, criminal and sexual exploitation. * QCF level 5 or an equivalent qualification or working towards * Experience supporting children and young people with complex needs. * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * The ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders and external agencies. * A commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people. * The resilience to manage a demanding but highly rewarding service.
