Restart is an innovative programme aimed at supporting individuals (participants) who are seeking employment to help them find work. The Coach will work with participants on Restart programme delivery workshops, employability sessions and job clubs, welcoming them to the programme, explaining the support available, and seeking to understand participant goals, aims and challenges regarding finding suitable employment to determine suitable support. The Coach will deliver one-to-one sessions supporting CV building, job applications and anything else that may support moving a customer towards employment. The Coach will work as part of a team collectively supporting participants to secure job opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience of providing support to individuals in a one-to-one or group setting
- Good IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office software and previous experience working with databases
- Understanding of the client group and the barriers clients may face
- The ability to communicate effectively and appropriately for the audience
