The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
As an IPS Employment Specialist you will work with clients, health professionals, service providers and employers to help people with mental health support needs secure sustainable paid employment.
You will manage a caseload and deliver the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) approach, with training provided by the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Provide person‑centred advice and guidance to clients throughout their employment journey.
- Build positive relationships with local employers to match clients with suitable roles.
- Achieve contract‑based targets including Starts on Programme, Job Entries, Job Retention and compliance with the Fidelity delivery model (IPS).
- Apply the IPS delivery model built on 8 key principles and 25 items under the Fidelity Scale.
- Guide clients through the six key stages of the IPS journey: outreach/referral, vocational profiling, action planning, job search, job placement and ongoing job coaching/support.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience working with clients who have mental health support needs is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet target‑driven performance metrics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with clients and employers.
- Willingness to complete IPS training and adhere to the Fidelity Scale.
