Responsibilities
- Provide peripatetic cover across a region supporting participants through the gate.
- Support PRIs and Through the Gate elements, working closely with custody support workers to facilitate and complete the three‑way handover meetings via face‑to‑face, video conferencing or telephone.
- Act as a single point of contact for participants who have been released, liaising and/or facilitating the initial meeting and ensuring engagement with support workers accordingly.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to coordinate support and follow‑up.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Pass HMPPS vetting (required by the role).
- Demonstrated experience in social care or rehabilitation settings (preferred).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently from home and adapt to varying schedules across prisons, hubs, and probation offices.
Location: East of England (home‑based, with daily travel to prisons, hubs, and probation offices across the region as required).
