Registered Manager – 3‑bed trauma‑informed children’s home in Calverton, Nottinghamshire.
Overview
Lead and shape daily operations of a small trauma‑informed residential home for three children with complex needs. Provide compassionate, reflective care and maintain a culture of empathy, accountability and presence.
Responsibilities
- Guide staff and foster an environment where children and young people can thrive.
- Model therapeutic leadership and embed trauma‑informed care across the home.
- Maintain a secure, safe, and motivating environment for residents and staff.
- Collaborate closely with the Responsible Individual and other key partners.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, legislations, and Ofsted standards.
Qualifications
- Level 5 QCF or equivalent in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in a registered children’s home setting in a supervisory role.
- Substantive managerial and supervisory experience.
- Thorough understanding of regulations and legislations governing children’s homes.
- Proven track record with Ofsted requirements.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service.
