Join us at Shaw Trust Ferndown as a Volunteer Donations Sorter and help us raise vital funds to support communities across the UK. As a not-for-profit charity, all our proceeds go to helping people around the UK.

A lot gets done behind the scenes, making this Stockroom role a great way to contribute to our charity at your own pace.

You\’ll be sorting donations, researching and pricing items, assisting donors and supporters, and making sure the shop stays well stocked and tidy.

Our friendly shop team will give you all the training and support you need to make you feel comfortable and confident here. We know that everyone has something to offer, even if you have don\’t have experience in retail.

We cover some lunch and travel expenses. We\’ll always be as flexible as possible around your education, health, family, work or other commitments.

What we\’re asking for

We are looking for friendly, reliable people who enjoy being part of a team and want to make a difference. Most volunteers give around 4 hours each week but we can be flexible around you. Volunteers in our shop must be aged 14 and over.
