Position: Mechanical Assembly Operator

I am recruiting Mechanical Assemblers for a busy Manufacturing and Engineering company near Yeadon, Leeds.
Requirements:
- Previous Mechanical Assembly or Production build experience
- Ability to follow written engineering/technical drawings
- Experience soldering
- Good knowledge of hand, air, and power tools
- Knowledge of Manual Handling Techniques is vital due to heavy lifting involved
Duties include:
- Basic assembly work
- Drilling
- Soldering
- Operating hand tools
- General cleaning and tidying of the workspace
Day shifts are from 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with an 11:45 am finish on Friday. Pay rate is £12.73/hr, with overtime paid at time + ½. The role is advertised as Temp to Perm for suitable candidates.
