Working on behalf of a client, we are looking for Waste Recycle/Site Operatives to join one of the UK's leading waste management companies based in Macclesfield. This is not a full-time role; candidates must be available for weekend and weekday shifts.
Pay: £12.21p/hr (ongoing, ad-hoc, part-time). ASAP starts.
Responsibilities:
- Assist members of the public disposing of waste in the allocated areas.
- Keep the site clean and tidy.
- Adhere to strict Health and Safety protocols.
- Respond to any general enquiries from the public.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Hard working with a 'can do' attitude.
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather.
- Friendly, approachable and good communication skills.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Available 7 days a week (including weekend shifts).
- Transport to Macclesfield site, with additional sites in Alsager, Macclesfield and Crewe – good own transport is beneficial.
Working Conditions:
- Working hours will vary depending on the time of year; currently 8.30am to 4pm.
- Ad-hoc contract – there are no set shift patterns each week, so flexibility, ability to work short-notice shifts and access to your own transport are essential.
Location: Macclesfield (and occasional shifts at Alsager or Crewe).
