Responsibilities
- Semi‑skilled assembly of various pieces of equipment and furniture.
- Using hand tools, staple guns, and glue.
- Moving and shifting equipment and products.
- Basic labouring tasks including stacking, wrapping, and strapping pallets.
- Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy.
Key Skills
- Previous semi‑skilled assembly experience.
- Knowledge of working with various hand and cutting tools.
- Ability to work from drawings.
- Hard working and physically fit, as the role involves a lot of manual labour.
- Knowledge of manual handling techniques, including heavy lifting.
- Good communication skills.
- Team player who works well as part of a team.
Work Hours & Pay
7:00‑15:00 Monday‑Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Pay rate £12.21 per hour. Overtime paid at time and a half. Role advertised initially as temporary.
