The commercial brand of Shaw Industries, Shaw Contract combines the expertise of the world’s largest carpet manufacturer with the financial stability of a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary. We have EMEA offices in London, Paris and Dubai.
Our Showroom Manager is responsible for the day-to-day ownership, operation, and presentation of the Shaw Contract London showroom. This is a role requiring an experienced, proactive individual who can independently manage a broad range of responsibilities while working closely with the Marketing and Sales team. The successful candidate will ensure the showroom consistently delivers a positive brand experience, supports commercial objectives, and operates to the highest professional standards. This role requires someone comfortable running events, managing priorities, and executing tasks hands-on, while following established processes. This position will work from our London showroom five days a week, 8:30 to 5:30.
Responsibilities:
- Showroom & Brand Experience: Serve as the primary owner of the showroom, ensuring it is always client-ready, welcoming, and aligned with Shaw Contract brand standards. Maintain all displays, samples, literature, and finishes; proactively enhance showroom functionality and customer flow.
- Events & Project Execution: Partner with Marketing to design, plan, and execute showroom events, managing all logistics including space setup, catering, coordination, day-of leadership, and post-event reset. Lead on-site operations during events to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Support broader Marketing projects as needed.
- Sales & Marketing Support: Support Sales with customer visits, walk-ins, and presentations; confidently present product when Sales team members are unavailable. Maintain strong knowledge of the EMEA product portfolio and support product launches, training sessions, and internal meetings. Assist with showroom branding, visual updates, and upkeep of presentation materials. Manage relationships with showroom partners to support collaboration and brand objectives.
- Operations, Samples & Facilities: Oversee showroom sample inventory, literature, and supply levels; coordinate shipments, replenishment, and returns. Manage vendor and building services relationships, including cleaning, IT coordination, and plant/flower services. Process facility-related invoices and handle incoming/outgoing post and deliveries.
- Reporting & Communication: Own the showroom calendar, ensuring accurate scheduling of customer visits, internal use, and partner bookings. Communicate proactively with Sales, Marketing, and external partners regarding visits, events, and space requirements. Provide regular updates and structured reporting to the line manager and wider team, including weekly and monthly activity summaries.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilities.
- Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in an administrative event coordination, or showroom environment, with a strong focus on client-facing service. An undergraduate degree would be a strong advantage.
Preferred experience sets:
- Experience in commercial interiors, architecture & design (A&D), or contract flooring;
- Understanding of EMEA business environments and cross-regional collaboration.
- Experience managing a showroom, hospitality space, or premium customer environment;
- Previous sales or showroom-based commercial support experience.
- Strong event management experience, including preparation, execution, and follow-through; and project coordination or facilities management experience.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, clients, and partners;
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail;
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
