Your role is that of Account Manager. In this role, you will report directly to the Regional Vice President for the UK and Ireland, with additional responsibilities to the VP International Sales.
What’s the role? Are you ready to make an impact in the world of commercial interiors? The Shaw Contract team is hiring! As an Account Manager, you’ll work closely with architects, designers, business owners, and contractors to bring high-quality flooring solutions to life. This individual will cover accounts in North West England, and you’ll also have the flexibility to build relationships across multiple industries, helping to create durable, functional, and inspiring spaces.
Qualifications:- Set the goals and objectives of the agreed customer base and Territory.
- Measure progress and implement necessary changes.
- Travel within the assigned Territory to meet with customers and assess business opportunities and conditions.
- Develop customer relations through regular contact with customers and prompt courteous responses to all inquiries via phone, email, or letter.
- Full understanding of product lines and the application that each product serves.
- Monitor sales performance and assist customers in promoting sales.
- Communicate competitive conditions and programmes.
- Entertain clients as needed with lunches, dinners, or industry events.
- Analyze and control expenditure to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, and maintain a good attendance record.
- Must have a valid Driving License.
- Must have a valid passport.
- Must live in North West England.
- 3-5 years commercial interiors experience required.
- Maintain a professional dress code.
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to a personal computer, tablet, and mobile phone.
- Occasional overnight travel outside the region but within the UK.
