Job Responsibilities:

  • Promote physical and emotional support to service users.
  • Provide person-centred care in line with an individual's care plan.
  • Offer personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents.
  • Promote dignity, choice and inclusion.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team and support colleagues in day-to-day duties.
  • Maintain a safe, happy, and caring environment.

Qualifications:

  • No experience required. Your values and behaviours matter more than your background.
  • If you listen well, treat others with respect, and genuinely want to support people to live their lives, you will be supported through training, ongoing support and development opportunities.

Location: East Preston, West Sussex, England. An 80-bedded nursing care home providing residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty and dementia.

Salary and Hours:

  • Salary: £13.80 per hour.
  • Hours: Bank (zero hours), full-time day and full-time night contracts available.
  • Shift times: 12-hour shifts, days (07:45-20:15) or nights (20:00-08:00).
