Shaw healthcare is looking for a Senior Support Worker to join the team at Orchard House in Withington. You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive. You will be using the latest care technology that will enable you to spend more time with the service users that you care for. Orchard House has an excellent reputation as a highly valued provider of care. The needs of our service users are at the centre of all we do every single day.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will have previous experience working with older people in residential care. You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people. You will have strong communication skills both verbally and in writing and will be required to build strong relationships with all those around you, ensuring family and friends feel welcomed, that health care professionals are kept well-informed, and keeping your Line Manager up to speed with residents' needs and progress. You will be a team player, able to follow guidelines and policies easily, and will need good written skills for writing care plans.
