Shift Times: As/when needed in the service - 12hr shifts (07:45-20:15 or 20:00-08:00)
Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Bank Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at The Martlets, an 80-bedded nursing care home located in East Preston, West Sussex, England. The purpose-built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
- Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
- Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working with older people in residential care
- Completed or working towards NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent)
- Flexible, patient, caring, organized, and people oriented
- Ability to lead a team and use own initiative
