A Senior Support Worker will provide care and support to older people in residential care at Victoria House in Rushden. The role requires previous experience working with older people, flexibility, patience, caring, organisation and strong communication skills – both verbal and written. The ideal candidate should have completed or be working towards a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
The responsibilities include:
- Building strong relationships with residents, families and health-care professionals;
- Keeping the line manager informed of residents’ needs and progress;
- Following guidelines and policies;
- Producing care plans.
This role is a team player who follows guidelines and policies easily. Full training is provided, including a leadership programme to support development and opportunities for progression within Shaw.
