Residential Team Leader – Hillside Lodge
Shaw Healthcare is seeking a passionate and caring Residential Team Leader to join the team at Hillside Lodge, a 60‑bed care home located in Pulborough, West Sussex. The role is part of an employee‑owned business that values development and leadership opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of person‑centred care and support the team to uphold those standards.
- Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice.
- Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
- Report changes in residents’ needs or well‑being promptly to the Line Manager.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care plans and documentation.
Qualifications
- Experience working with older people in residential care.
- Completed NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Flexible, patient, caring, organised and people‑oriented.
- Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
