Overview: The purpose-built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia. Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
- Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
- Report changes in residents’ needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation
- As a Residential Team Leader, uphold high standards of person-centred care and support your team to do the same
- Lead a team and use own initiative
Qualifications:
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Requirements:
- Experience working with older people in residential care
- Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people
