We look to provide as much flexible working as possible to secure your work/life balance. Shaw healthcare is looking for a Residential Team Leader to join the team at Maitland Park. You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those who we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive.
You will be using the latest care technology that will enable you to spend more time with the service users that you care for. Maitland Park has an excellent reputation as a highly valued provider of care. The needs of our service users are at the centre of all we do every single day.
As a Team Leader, you’ll have previous experience working with older people in residential care. You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people. You will have strong communication skills both verbally and in writing and also will have completed or be working towards your QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
It will be your responsibility to build strong relationships with all those around you, making sure family and friends feel welcomed, that health care professionals are kept well-informed, and that you’re keeping your Line Manager up to speed with residents’ needs and progress. A team player, you can follow guidelines and policies easily, and will have good written skills, as you will need to write up care plans.
We will provide you with full training. This includes our leadership programme which can support your development and opportunities for progression within Shaw.
Salary: £15.65 per hour
Working Hours: Bank (zero hour contract). Day and night shifts available.
