You will work under the direction of the Chef to work together as a Catering Team to ensure that delicious home cooked meals are prepared and services to the Residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef with food preparation.
• Independently prepare hot meals and sandwiches for residents.
• Load and unload dishwasher, wash up equipment unsuitable for dishwasher.
• Clean kitchen and equipment.
• Collect and distribute crockery from/to the care floors.
• Clear tea trolleys where applicable.
• Empty kitchen rubbish and keep areas clear of refuse.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Ensure that the nutritional needs of residents are met.
• Ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Policy and Regulations.
• Attend to reasonable requests as instructed by Senior Chef/Chef.
• Work within the Catering Team to support residents with meals.

Salary & Working Hours

Salary: £12.60 per hour. Working hours: Part‑time – 30 hours a week. Shift times to be discussed during the interview. Weekend on and off.
