The purpose-built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia. Shaw Healthcare was founded in 1986 and has evolved to become the largest Employee-Owned Healthcare company in the UK. Responsibilities
- Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
- Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
- Report changes in residents’ needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation
- As a Residential Team Leader, uphold high standards of person-centred care and support your team to do the same
- Lead a team and use own initiative
Qualifications
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
