We are looking for a Chef to join our team at Thorndale, Kettering. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to making a difference in the lives of our service users, delivering high standards of care and service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, cooking, and serving meals for residents and others as required, in a timely manner.
- Catering to diverse dietary needs and cultural preferences.
- Organizing catering for celebrations and events.
- Ordering supplies within budget and policy guidelines, using approved suppliers in the absence of the senior cook.
- Maintaining accurate catering records following HACCP standards.
- Participating in inspections by Environmental Health, care regulators, and local authorities.
- Ensuring high hygiene standards within the kitchen, adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
- Contributing to a safe and healthy working environment, complying with Health & Safety regulations.
- Managing the Catering Team effectively.
