Shaw Healthcare is seeking a passionate and caring Residential Team Leader for the TreneWeydd facility in Brecon, responsible for maintaining high standards of person‑centred care and supporting the team to uphold those standards. The role includes leading by example on shift, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date care plans, and delivering safe medication administration.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of person‑centred care and support the team to uphold those standards.
  • Lead by example, providing guidance and support to promote best practice.
  • Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
  • Report changes in residents’ needs or well‑being promptly to the Line Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care plans and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with older people in residential care.
  • Completed or working towards NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
  • Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
