The Bank Residential Team Leader at Shaw Healthcare’s Cartref facility in Hay‑on‑Wye is responsible for maintaining high standards of person‑centred care and supporting the team to uphold those standards in everything they do.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, providing guidance and support during shifts to promote best practice.
  • Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
  • Report changes in residents’ needs or well‑being promptly to the Line Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care plans and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with older people in residential care.
  • Completed or working towards NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Flexible, patient, caring, organised and people‑oriented.
  • Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
