We are looking for a Bank Chef to join our team at Orchard House in Withington. Our team is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those we care for, providing the highest standard of care that we would expect for our own families. Orchard House has an excellent reputation as a valued care provider, with the needs of our service users at the heart of everything we do.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, cooking, and serving meals promptly for residents and others as required.
- Catering to diverse dietary needs and cultural preferences.
- Organizing catering for celebrations and events.
- Ordering supplies within the catering budget and company policy, using approved suppliers in the absence of the senior cook.
- Maintaining accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP standards.
- Participating in inspections by Environmental Health, care regulators, and local authorities.
- Ensuring high hygiene standards in the kitchen by following HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
- Supporting a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to health & safety policies.
- Managing the catering team effectively.
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Working Hours: Bank 0-hour contract, as/when required.
