The Grove is a highly valued care provider. Shaw healthcare seeks a Bank Chef to join the team and deliver high‑quality, home‑cooked meals to residents, ensuring dietary needs are satisfied.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing, cooking and serving meals for residents and other guests on time.
- Providing a varied diet that respects cultural preferences.
- Catering for celebrations and events in the home.
- Ordering supplies within the catering budget and following company policy, using approved suppliers when the senior cook is absent.
- Keeping accurate catering records in line with HACCP.
- Taking part in inspections by Environmental Health, care regulators and local authorities.
- Maintaining high hygiene standards in the kitchen, adhering to HACCP and COSHH.
- Assisting in maintaining a safe & healthy environment by following health & safety and welfare procedures.
- Managing the catering team, where required.
