Salary: £15.36-£16.00 per hour
Hours: 36hrs per week
Shift Times: On 4 weekly Rota, 12hr day shifts (07:45-20:15) includes alternative weekends
Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Residential Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at Warmere Court, a care home in Yapton, West Sussex, offering 40 residential places. The facility specialises in dementia, residential, and respite care, providing a safe and supportive environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
- Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
- Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation
Qualifications And Experience:
- Experience working with older people in residential care
- You will have completed or be working towards your NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent)
- You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people
- Ability to lead a team and use own initiative
