Hours: 28 hours

Shift Times: 07:15-14:45 and 14:15-21:45

Shaw Healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Residential Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at The Grove, situated in Ystradgynlais. The purpose‑built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of person‑centred care and support your team to uphold those standards in everything they do.
  • Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice.
  • Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
  • Report changes in residents’ needs or well‑being promptly to the Line Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care plans and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working with older people in residential care.
  • Completed or working towards NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Flexible, patient, caring, organised and good with people.
  • Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
