Shaw healthcare is looking for a Support Worker to join the team at Surehaven Glasgow. You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those who we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive. You will be using the latest care technology that will enable you to spend more time with the service users that you care for. Surehaven Glasgow has an excellent reputation as a highly valued provider of care. The needs of our service users are at the centre of all we do every single day.
Surehaven Glasgow is registered with Health Improvement Scotland as an Independent Low Secure Hospital, and accommodates twenty-one patients aged between 18 and 65 years with a primary diagnosis of severe and enduring mental illness, all of whom are detained under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) Scotland Act 2003 or Criminal Procedures (Scotland) Act 1995. The hospital is a 21 bedded unit (all ensuite) split into 2 gender specific wards. It is designed to maximize communal and living space for the patients as well as providing activity rooms for the facilitation of therapeutic programmes.
