Overview

Senior Support Worker – £12.72 per hour

Shift pattern: 07:30am – 15:00pm / 14:45pm – 22:15pm

Position details

Shaw healthcare is looking for a Senior Support Worker to join the team at Orchard House in Withington. You will join a team committed to making a difference to the lives of those we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users and to provide the same standard of care we would expect for our own family members. Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll have experience working with older people in residential care.
  • Be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
  • Have strong communication skills both verbally and in writing and have completed or be working towards QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Build strong relationships with service users, family and friends, inform health care professionals, and keep your Line Manager up to speed with residents’ needs and progress.
  • Follow guidelines and policies, write up care plans, and function as a team player.
