Overview
Senior Support Worker role at Shaw healthcare at Llys Hafren. Shift times: 36.75 hour contract. Shift Time: (Am - 06.45 -14.15) (Pm- 13.45 - 21.15) (LD - 06.45 - 21.15). Salary: £14.04 per hour. Responsibilities
As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll join a team at Llys Hafren committed to making a difference to the lives of those we provide care for. You will be using the latest care technology that will enable you to spend more time with the service users that you care for. You will build strong relationships with all those around you, ensuring family and friends feel welcomed, that health care professionals are kept well-informed, and that your Line Manager is kept up to speed with residents’ needs and progress. You are a team player, able to follow guidelines and policies easily, with good written skills for writing up care plans. You will have previous experience working with older people in residential care and must be flexible, patient, caring, organised, and great with people.
Qualifications
- Experience with older people in residential care; ability to be flexible, patient, caring, organised, and good with people.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Completed or working towards QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
