Fixed term Part time Day Support Worker

Location: Victoria House, 77 Victoria Road, Rushden, Northamptonshire NN10 0AS

Victoria House is a modern 47-bed single-storey care home which opened in Rushden in 2008 and provides residential care for elderly residents including people with dementia.

Salary: £12.72 per hour

Hours: Part time – 24 hours a week – Fixed term for 12 months to cover maternity leave

Shift Times: 07:45am – 20:15pm

Job Responsibilities

  • Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
  • Offering personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
  • Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting colleagues in day-to-day duties
  • Maintaining a safe, happy and caring environment
