Position
Shaw Healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Support Worker to provide physical and emotional support to aged care residents at Ashfield House, a 40 bed residential care home for older people, including those with dementia.
Responsibilities
- Providing person‑centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
- Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
- Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
- Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
- Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting colleagues in day‑to‑day duties
- Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
Requirements
Experience is not required; values and behaviours such as listening well, treating others with respect and a genuine desire to support people to live their lives are essential. Full training, ongoing support, and development opportunities are provided.
