Hours: Part time - 27 hours a week

Shift Times: 07:45am - 20:15pm

Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring person who is ready to make a positive impact at Ashfield House. Ashfield House is a 40 bed residential care home for older people who are physically frail and for those with dementia. Care can be arranged for long term or respite situations. A purpose-built care home designed to facilitate the provision of high quality, person-centred care.

Job Responsibilities

  • As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our service users.
  • The duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan.
  • Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents.
  • Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting colleagues in day-to-day duties.
  • Maintaining a safe, happy and caring environment.
