Shaw Healthcare, the UK’s largest employee‑owned healthcare company, is seeking a Chef for The Hawthorns home in Evesham. You will work closely with the Home Manager, Nutritional Therapist and staff to deliver high‑quality fresh, home‑cooked meals and maintain a safe, hygienic kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook and serve meals for residents in a timely manner.
  • Provide a varied diet, catering to cultural preferences of residents.
  • Arrange catering for celebrations and other events.
  • Order supplies within the catering budget and company policy guidelines using approved suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate catering records in accordance with HACCP.
  • Participate in inspections by Environmental Health, care regulators and Local Authorities.
  • Maintain high hygiene standards in the kitchen by adhering to HACCP and COSHH guidelines.
  • Assure a safe and healthy working environment by upholding Health and Safety regulations.
