We are looking for an Activities Champion to join our team at Orchard House in Withington. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to making a positive difference in the lives of our service users. Our goal is to provide the highest standard of care, using the latest care technology to allow more quality time with residents. Orchard House has an excellent reputation as a valued care provider, focusing daily on the needs of our service users.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop activity profiles for each service user in collaboration with care staff.
  • Ensure the safe use of all equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities.
  • Coordinate outings with the senior nurse on duty.
  • Research accessibility and facilities for outings.
  • Communicate with senior care assistants regarding medical or nursing care information of residents.
