About The Role
As Service Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the home, ensuring residents receive outstanding care while supporting your team to achieve their full potential.
You’ll create a culture where quality, kindness and continuous improvement are embedded in everything you do.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Leading and inspiring your team to consistently deliver exceptional, person-centred care.
- Providing visible, approachable and supportive leadership throughout the home.
- Building strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
- Managing occupancy, budgets and resources to ensure the continued success of the service.
- Maintaining compliance with CQC standards and all relevant legislation.
- Driving continuous quality improvement through effective clinical governance.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and development of colleagues.
- Promoting meaningful activities, independence and choice for every resident.
- Ensuring the home operates safely, effectively and in line with Shaw Healthcare's vision of providing the quality of care we would want for our own loved ones.
About You
We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional care.
You’ll Have
- Previous experience managing a care home or a service of a similar size and client group.
- A proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience managing budgets, occupancy and operational performance.
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and quality assurance.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A caring, compassionate and values-driven approach.
