Salary: £15.70 per hour

Hours: 12 hours per week - alternating Friday and Sundays

Shift Times: 19:30-07:30

Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Residential Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at Llwyn Teg. The purpose-built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
  • Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
  • Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience working with older people in residential care
  • Completed or working towards NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent)
  • Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people
  • Ability to lead a team and use own initiative
