Shaw healthcare is looking for a Residential Team Leader to join the team at Orchard House in Withington. You will be part of a team committed to making a difference in the lives of those we care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our service users, providing the same standard we would expect for our own family members. You will use the latest care technology to spend more time with the service users you care for.

Orchard House has an excellent reputation as a highly valued provider of care. As a Team Leader, you’ll need previous experience working with older people in residential care. You should be flexible, patient, caring, organized, and great with people. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, and you should have completed or be working towards your QCF 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).

Your responsibilities include building strong relationships with family and friends, keeping healthcare professionals informed, and updating your Line Manager on residents’ needs and progress. As a team player, you can follow guidelines and policies easily and will have good writing skills for care plans.
