Location: Plas Cae Crwn Care Home - Shaw healthcare, Park St, Newtown SY16 1EW

Salary: £14.04 per hour

Hours: 42 hour contract

Shift Times: 07:45 - 20:15

Role Overview: Shaw healthcare is looking for a Senior Support Worker to join the team at Plas Cae Crwn. The role involves delivering high standard care to service users, using the latest care technology to support their well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues, ensuring families and friends feel welcomed, keeping healthcare professionals informed, and reporting to the Line Manager on residents’ needs and progress.
  • Follow guidelines and policies, and write care plans as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with older people in residential care.
  • Flexible, patient, caring, organised and strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Completion or working towards a QCF3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
