Role: Night Residential Team Leader
Shaw Healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Residential Team Leader who is ready to make a positive impact at Orchard House, situated in Withington. The purpose‑built service provides residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty, and for older people living with dementia.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice.
- Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
- Report changes in resident needs or well‑being promptly to the Line Manager.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care plans and documentation.
Qualifications And Experience
- Experience working with older people in residential care.
- Completed or working towards your NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
- Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
