Salary: £12.82

Hours: Full time - 36 hours a week. Shift Times: 07:45am - 20:15pm

Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring person who is ready to make a positive impact at Ledbury Intermediate Care Unit. Ledbury Intermediate Care Unit provides short stay nursing rehabilitation for up to 14 Service Users requiring step down care following surgery or medical intervention in hospital or step up care following an illness or incident at home which requires some stabilisation or therapy input prior to returning home.

Job Responsibilities

As a Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. This will include, but not limited to:

  • Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
  • Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
  • Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
  • Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
