Shaw healthcare is looking for a Support Worker to join the team at Ledbury Intermediate Care Unit.
Ledbury Intermediate Care Unit has an excellent reputation as highly valued provider of care. The needs of our patients are at the centre of all we do every single day.
Ledbury Intermediate Care Unit provides short stay nursing rehabilitation for up to 14 patients who require further assessment, reablement and discharge care planning.
As a Support Worker you will be responsible for providing physical and emotional support to our patients. Assisting service user’s with washing, dressing, and promoting independence where possible.
Working alongside the MDT which includes Nurses, Physio, OT and Doctors to ensure that our patients are medically fit before discharge.
You will join a team that is fully committed to making a difference to the lives of those who we provide care for. Our aim is to deliver the highest standard of care to our patients and to provide the same standard of care that we would expect our own family members to receive. You will be using the latest care technology that will enable you to spend more time with the service users that you care for.
As a Support Worker you will be responsible for providing physical and emotional support to our patients. Assisting service user’s with washing, dressing, and promoting independence where possible.
