Hours: Full time – 42 hours a week

Shift Times: Nights

Location: Victoria House, Raunds – a purpose‑built facility providing residential and nursing care for older people with physical frailty and dementia.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and provide guidance and support on shift to promote best practice.
  • Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
  • Report changes in residents’ needs or well‑being promptly to the Line Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care plans and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience working with older people in residential care.
  • Completed or working towards NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
  • Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
